Ok guys, so many of you may not know this, but there is currently a semi new app on the market calledEden: World Builder. It is practically a Minecraft: Pocket Edition look alike, with a few exceptions.1: Eden does not have survival mode2: Eden's worlds are like the current version of minecraft for PC where the worlds are almost infinite.3: Eden does not have day/night cyclesThe way the game works is similar to Minecraft. It is a world made of blocks and flats. The textures are almost exactly the same, the GUI is almost the same, and everything about the game is similar. Another thing is, they sell their app for $3.99, however they are currently running a sale for $0.99I have bought the game to test it out, and the first thing that came to my mind was, 'Why has Mojang not sued these guys yet?' This game is every bit the same as minecraft pocket edition for a cheaper price!
I don't know about you guys, I think they should be shut down for this. I can see roblox being ok because they are nothing like minecraft with the exception that they use blocks, but eden is pushing it honestly. Anyway, since you guys already know what Minecraft Pocket Edition already looks like, I won't post any pictures of it, but here are some pictures of Eden. I want your thoughts on this guys, I think Mojang should be aware that someone is basically using their material to make their own game and profit from it. I don't think they should get sued, when it first came out years ago, I bought it, and it's NOT even close to MCPE.
Eden - World Builder. We’re looking for an experienced game developer with strong c skills and graphics engine development experience to work remote with us on contract for two games, a remaster of “Eden – World Builder” for iOS(which has a custom c engine) and an in-development dancing game in Unreal 4 engin.
The game is so different from MCPE and the only game that was taken from the appstore was Crafted because it had same textures, same mobs, same sounds, same crafting on the PC but was 2D. But as Eden, the only similar thing about them is that they're just made of blocks. And any game can have mobs that are passive sometimes and are aggressive, some have clouds as well, to make the game less boring as it is, but after this, MCPE still wins.
